Flooring Industry Training Association

FITA, the Flooring Industry Training Association offers courses and workshops to suit not only real beginners just getting started in the industry but up-skilling courses aimed towards seasoned professionals too.

Through in-work qualifications and on-site assessment, FITA also offers a range of support to floor layers in obtaining NVQ's in floor laying disciplines.

Painters and Decorator's Association (PDA)

The PDA's Purpose

Work carried out ranges from internal & external domestic, decorative, commercial, and major industrial contracts. Specialist work includes hand painted kitchens, wallpaper hanging, special effects, sign writing and murals. The National Carpet Cleaners Association

Founded in 1968, The National Carpet Cleaners Association (NCCA) is not-for-profit and is the only nationally recognised trade association dedicated to the cleaning, restoration and protection of carpets, hard flooring and soft furnishings. The NCCA’s main priorities lie around increasing consumer awareness, improving online presence and creating a community for its members.

The Association and is sustained and supported by over 650 Member and Corporate Member companies throughout the UK and overseas. There is typically a member within 15 miles of most of the postcodes, except for very rural locations.

WoolSafe

The WoolSafe Organisation is a cleaning industry service provider, devoted to promoting best practice in carpet and rug care through maintenance product evaluation and certification, education and training, and the promotion of professional cleaning and inspection services.

Established in 1991, the WoolSafe Certification Mark is widely recognised in many parts of the world as the standard for excellence and safety of carpet care chemicals, both for professionals and consumers. It is used by many of the world’s largest cleaning chemical suppliers to identify and promote those carpet care products specifically suitable for use on wool.
