Training with FITA The Flooring Industry Training Association

In an era of technical advancement, many changes in product and installation techniques are evident in our industry. If you are a Flooring Professional, why not enrol on one of the many courses offered by FITA? As FITA has the full support and cooperation of the National Institute of Carpet and Floorlayers and the Contract Flooring Association, both NICF and CFA members are entitled to a discount as a benefit of membership.

FITA has two specialist training centres at Loughborough, England and Kirkcaldy, Scotland with fully equipped practical and lecture areas. FITA offers 20+ standard training courses for both commercial and domestic installers from short one-day workshops to two-, three- and four-day courses as well as bespoke and tailored courses too.

Our standard courses are designed to suit not only real beginners just getting started in the industry, but upskilling courses aimed towards seasoned professionals, such as those wishing to become NICF Master Fitters, as well as being able to facilitate those individuals or companies that require bespoke courses.

For the domestic installer courses cover subfloor preparation, domestic sheet vinyl installation, natural floorcoverings alongside a number of varying courses (dependent on the installer's ability) in woods, laminates, LVT and carpets, with courses on moisture and estimating too.
