Obituary - Michael J Wilson

We are sorry to learn the very sad news that Michael J Wilson, a Master Fitter member of the NICF for many years, has passed away.

Michael was based in Chesterfield and had been a member of the NICF since 1993; in 1998 Michael won the Carpet Fitter of the Year competition and from 1999 to 2007 served as a Council member.  Michael went on to be further involved with the Carpet Fitter of the Year competition as a judge as well being part of the set up and design team.

Our sincere condolences to Michael's family, friends and colleagues at this sad time. 

Funeral service arrangements

The funeral service is taking place on Thursday 21 April 2016 at 2.30pm at Chesterfield & District Crematorium, Chesterfield Road, Chesterfield S43 1AU.  Family flowers only.

Should you wish to make a donation this can be to either Guide Dogs for the Blind or Hearing Dogs for the Deaf; please forward donations to the funeral directors B Hattersley & Sons Ltd, 211 Chatsworth Road, Chesterfield S40 2BA.

Following the service there will be a funeral reception at the Gate Inn, Overgreen, Cutthorpe, Chesterfield S42 7BA.
